Movie #2030 "Christmas in Tahoe" (Hallmark) Maybe it's just me, but Tahoe? If I had a choice, I'd pick Ireland or Scotland. However, what this one has going for it is two very good looking central leads. Laura Osnes, a Broadway star (in real life) plays a woman who wants to go up the ladder to more professional bookings in venues rather than her father's private one--- the good looking guy wants to be a composer and is taken for granted in his rock band. Story is weak..... with nothing really new here at all. Two people trying to follow their dreams (because these darn Hallmark films preach that) but then fall in love and uh oh. Their dreams may take them in different directions. So how are we gonna figure this one out --- does one have to give in? Can't they both be happy? Can't Hallmark figure this one out? The only reason to watch this one is to bask in the cuteness of the two leads. But why oh why did a movie on music not allow Osnes to sing? 3 out of 5.
