Movie #2028 ............................"A Castle for Christmas" (Netflix)

Movie #2028 "A Castle for Christmas" (Netflix)  After watching the previous one, I kind of wanted to know how netflix would deal with the castle story, so voila!  I came across this one with Brooke Shields being an author who has writer's block so she takes off for Scotland and meets up with Cary Elwes (the lead  in "Men in Tights") who wants to rip her off for her money but not really sell the place to her ---  just drive her away after he gets the deposit ---- he has a good reason.  The scenery is great --- the friends she makes are really cool.  This film made me feel bad that we never stepped into a Scottish pub while we were there --- too busy walking around around places, I guess.  The pub has the most fun scenes, for sure. The opening was a bit overdone on Brooke's part, mugging as she can do --- but after a while, that simmered down and it was fun to watch.  I'd give it a 4 out of 5 and recommend it.
