Movie #2025 "Christmas CEO" (Hallmark) This was a new girl I wasn't acquainted with yet in Hallmark Land, but I came out liking her in this film. These two were childhood friends who decided together they both liked making toys so they would go into business together. But then the guy accused the girl of worrying just about money and they haven't talked in 7 years. Now, in order to sell her business and become a CEO in a merger, she finds she needs to get his signature to proceed. Ah! Therein, lies the conflict --- hurt feelings, several years of not talking, he obviously has had a crush on her from the get go.... I liked it mostly because the story worked --- I learned a little about being a CEO of a toy company -- how using high pressure when making toys doesn't make the best toys at all. They can be rather simple (as most parents know) and still be fun to play with --- and may even be better because they can push the creative juices of the kid. Anyway, I'd give this a 4.5 because it stands out a bit with its story line and the two leads. 4.5 out of 5
