Movie #2024 "A Kiss Before Christmas" (Hallmark) This was billed a reunion of sorts between Terri Hatcher and her hubby from Wisteria Lane ("Desperate Housewives) and it was nice to see them together again. The irony is that they are only married for a short time because this is one of those magical time travel films (there are so many that it is becoming a second genre here in Hallmark land) where if he chooses another route to live, he'd have a Porsche, a driver, a drop dead gorgeous house....you get the idea, but no family. However, he still meets her in his other life --- she's a lawyer, and she is falling in love with him, so really what it comes down to is his kids. So there's a bit of a twist there --- then when he decides to go back it is really for the kids and to support his wife whose dream is to become a lawyer. I bet you can guess what he decides to do ---- but I'm not sure everyone would want to go back because his life is pretty good..... monetarily, and isn't that what most people shoot for? (pretty cynical for Hallmark, I know) Anyway, it worked because the two of them work well together, and it has a nice ending --- it's nice to see a good guy once in a while --- well, not unusual in Hallmark films, but you know what I mean. I give it a 4 out of 5.
