Movie #2190 "The Elephant Whisperers" (theatre) The photography was nice in this one, but there wasn't much going on in the 40 long minutes of this short doc. They decorated the elephants (why, we don't know), bathed them, fed them, played ball with them - but we, as the viewers, never learned much about elephants --- just that these people loved them. And they were sad when they were taken away --- we don't know why they were taken away. And there was a line in the film that it was people's fault that there were problems with elephants --- they didn't tell us the problems or what we did to cause them or what we could do to fix the problems. I don't think this one was successful at all --- I'd give it a 2.5 --- like I said, the photography was good, but this one left me flat.
