Movie #415 ........................"Frankie and Johnny Got Married"

Movie #415 Frankie and Johnny Got Married" is a fun movie for someone like me. I was looking for something that would be on the lighter side, and I saw this in my instant queue and I thought: this is a movie for me, and it was. It concerns people who are married and working with each other, and they are working on a play, no less. Could it get any better? I'm not sure that there is much of a audience for this type of film, except for me, but I found it very enjoyable ---- it told me nothing new, but that's because we worked on so many shows. But to those out there that want to learn or be reminded of all the things that go in to putting on a show, from memorizing lines, getting costumes, selling tickets, and working so closely and so much with people night and day, then this is the movie for you. A good watch.

I'd give it 3 stars
Frankie and Johnny Are Married
(2004) R
Filmmaker Michael Pressman and his wife, Lisa Chess, thought that working together on a production of the famous play "Frankie and Johnny at the Clair de Lune" would work wonders for their careers and inject excitement into their marriage. They got much more than that, including an out-of-control co-star, mounting bills and a relationship on the brink of disaster. Watch how the events unfold in this fictionalized account of their experience.
