Movie #408 ........................."Day & Night"

Movie #408 "Day *& Night" was the best of the animated shorts nominated for Oscars for 2011, in my opinion, and it's pixar. It was the movie that was attached to "Toy Story 3" this year, so chances are good that you saw it already. Two blobby characters, one night and the other day, point out why one is better than the other --- like Night shows fireworks, and Day shows a bathing beauty on the beach. They agree to disagree, and this to me is the most topical theme -----esp. in the united states when we can't agree on anything --- we seem to revel in our differences, and it has to dawn on us soon that we have to move on and both search for compromise if we are ever gonna get anything done! I give this one a 5 --- the theme is the best, the visuals are A+. Congratulations, Pixar! But the oscar rarely goes to us, so this should be interesting in this category.
