Movie #2098 "Please Hold" (movie theater oscar-nominated live action shorts 2022) I enjoy science fiction once in a while, esp. when it has a definite message or warning to us --- this short film shows us how doing everything on line without the human voice or touch can get out of hand. A guy just on his way to work is arrested by a drone and imprisoned and put into a privatized prison cell and he never finds out why --- we assume, it is a mistake. He can't complain because he needs money to get even in touch with a lawyer to find out why he is there --- it's kind of humorous at times, even though it sounds like a desperate situation he is thrown into. I liked it because as outlandish as it may seem, it still kept its credibility and its warning theme. I give this a 4 out of 5 and recommend it if you can find it somewhere to stream.
