Movie #2095 "The Dress" (movie theater - oscar-nominated live action shorts 2022) This was a very quiet, but constantly simmering type of film to watch concerning a young woman with dwarfism. We are introduced to her daily life and her want for more. She has a life-hardened co-worker in Poland at a roadside motel that they both work in as maids. When a handsome stranger gives her the eye, he ignites her not-so-latent sexual desires, and she dares to hope for romance. I would have ranked this movie even more if the ending worked for me. It seemed up in the air, and if you see it, I would love to converse with you on what you got out of it. But I understood why this was nominated because it works to keep your interest (as mundane as her life is) to the end. I give it 3.5.
