Movie #1275 "A Perfect Christmas" was far from perfect to me, as far as movies go. This never pulled me in emotionally --- by the end, I could care less. It bothered me that she never did tell him her news, when he told her his ---- her character seemed really flaky to me so I really didn't care for her or the mother. The premise was just okay, nothing new to me except that the main couple was married already ---- so that makes it a tad different. But it's a married coupe keeping two big secrets from each other ---- so there's still that Hallmark scene where they happily come together. The happy ending is expected, so in that way, it is a lot like the others ---two cutesy families coming together due to a marriage ---- and of course , there are problems in the coming together. The two actors could have more charisma; in this one, her strong-minded dad and his strong-minded mother stole the scenes. You can skip this one. 2.8 out of 5 stars.

Life rarely goes exactly as planned, but that's not going to stop newlyweds Steve and Cynthia from hosting the perfect Christmas celebration -- which means hiding the news that he's been laid off and she's expecting.
