Movie #1266 "A Cookie Cutter Christmas" --- well, this was a tad different offering for the Hallmark folks --- it didn't deal with a corporation, a makeover, a nanny, a place someone wants to save from his past, dysfunctional families.......this one takes place in a school, two rival teachers in the same elementary school who both set sights on the new widowed father with an adorable little girl who just arrived in town. The leads are very quiet and unassuming and this story is just about a cookie contest --- no more or no less......but I liked it. What I didn't like was how witchy the one girl was......and what lengths she goes to to sabotage the other one's love life ---- only to turn 360 degrees around to making amends --- none of her was believable, really. The charming part was the two leads and the little girl. So for that and the strong theme (about seeking revenge is never a good idea), I'd give this 3.8 out of 5 stars. It was one of the better ones, and I'm glad I watched it.
" A COOKIE CUTTER CHRISTMAS" -- 2014 1 hour 26 mins
P.S kind of sad that Alan Thicke died today ---- he was in the film, and although he wasn't a very authentic actor, at times he added some good moments to a film.
