Movie #3161 "Holiday Road" (Hallmark) This is one of the best this holiday season -- why? it is very different. Not the seat up, because there are a lot of movies that have people stranded at an airport, but I can' remember one where 6 or so people all decide to rent a van and do a road trip --- and along the way, you are made to feel liken of them, because with equal time, all their stories are told. That's good to get a well rounded story, but it is a detriment to building the two leads' love story. Things happen a bit too quick at the end for them, I felt. They disagree about most everything, and are back and forth with smarmy remarks, so it's hard to see that they are falling in love. Otherwise, the stage business is very intriguing, and they back stories are very emotional and draw us in. I'd give it 4.5 and say it is one of the better ones that you might want to check out, if you didn't see it yet.
