Movie #3153 "A Season for Family" (Hallmark) This Hallmark movie tangles with the subject of adoption, and when and how a parent tells the child he/she is adopted. The subject, though a very good one and one that should be tackled with, just does a surface focus on it --- and as a result, the film seemed to drag on --- it seemed to be too easily solved.....just talk to the kid and tell him. So it puts the guy in a weird situation, and although the woman and both kids really did well, it still left him with all the angst, pretty much. The film on this subject, and the way it was handled, could have been shorter. I'd give it a 3 out of 5.

Maddy's adopted son Wesley has just one Christmas wish -- to meet his brother Cody, who was adopted into a different family. Cody's father Paul is a widower who is not ready to have this conversation with his son.
