Movie #947 "Sassy Pants" is a movie I would recommend to teens. This is a thinking girl living with dysfunctional folks (both for different reasons that will drive you nuts!) She tries to find her way alone. She's smart enough to see that if she doesn't make good sound decisions and think about consequences, that she will end up married at a young age and like her folks, so she wants to get off the "treadmill" and make it on her own. It's a very honest portrait of a young teen, faced with little options. Good acting, good themes. Teens should see this.

After Bethany bounces from her overprotective mom to her dysfunctional dad, things start to look up when she learns about a local fashion institute.
