Movie #108 "The Heartbreak Kid" (2007) is not near as good as the first one. But not a surprise - caught this on t.v. yesterday when I was on the mend from the food poisoning and didn't recognize it when I went by it and decided to finish watching it. Wasn't in my queue because I had no interest in seeing a remake of a film that I thought worked the first time --- and I was right. It takes an exaggerated situation and blows it out of proportion even more. So crosses the stupid line? oh yeah. But I AM glad in a way I saw it because just yesterday I was watching "At the Movies' Worst Movies " show and they mentioned Malin Akerman being in two of the films -- and I had never heard of her. So now I know who she is. She seems talented enough,but if she continues in the bombs she's been choosing to act in, she might be a sign of an automatic two-star movie from now on!
