Movie #1570 ........................."Catastrophe" (t.v. show, Amazon Prime)

Movie #1570 "Catastrophe" is a t.v. show on Amazon Prime that I saw 3 seasons of, and am waiting for season 4. It has rough situations, raw language, and some unlikeable characters, but the two leads and the witty dialogue make me continue to watch and enjoy the show. It isn't for everyone. But I think it would appeal to rom com people who are looking for a more realistic approach to a modern day love story. You have a British woman who gets pregnant from a one-week-stand with an American salesman who is in the U.K. on business. That might rub people the wrong way, but the two leads are very capable and somehow in habit these people so well that they constantly get across how real all the situations are to two parents trying to get through the challenges that modern day parents have to face on a daily basis. Even if the challenges are a bit extreme (to get watchers watching and not get bored), they bring us along because they seem so universal. Oh, it isn't a have to , to watch, but I liked it, and I think a few of you out there would, too. I give it a 4 out of 5. Oh, and i would be remiss if I didn't mention that this is the last work of Carrie Fisher who plays the guy's mom here. She died on the plane trip home after filming the third season for this show. A shame, and I am sure they will deal with the loss of this fine woman in season 4.
