Movie #1081 ........................."Bridge of Spies"

Movie #1081 "Bridge of Spies" is a riveting film, in the spy genre, and I thoroughly enjoyed it --- It has a bunch of winning parts to it -- ace script, written by the Coen brothers, terrific acting led by Tom Hanks and Broadway staple Mark Rylance (as Abel), superb photography that will most likely get an oscar nomination, (along with equally exquisite editing).  The film's time period is the cold war, and I remember living during that time, so it was esp. interesting to me what was going on in the espionage world.  Since it is a Spielberg film, there's lots of attention to detail and memorable visual moments that will last through time --- esp. the shot outside the train window shortly after the Berlin Wall is put up.  I highly recommend this; the only drawback was I felt it was a tad too long, but it's one of those detailed stories that demands attention, so I hardly noticed the two hours it took to tell it.  Another excellent film, Mr. Spielberg!  I hope you never retire from this business!
