Movie #2034 "Christmas in Vienna" (Hallmark) --- watched this because it showed off the beauty of Vienna, a place I would like to visit someday. The kids are cool in the film and have distinct personalities. The woman lead took a few lessons to play the violin believably in this film, but she is shown a lot from the back, doing minimal fingering, and playing the same song throughout. But I applaud the effort --- the violin is not an easy instrument to learn. I've seen this guy in films before, and he handles a lot of talking scenes pretty well, usually, but he had less of them at the beginning of this film, being a diplomat who had no time for this lady, so he came across cold and it took the film a long time to have him come across more likable. He was just a smart aleck through most of it, which wore on me. She, playing against that, was stuck making fun of him and that became annoying by pushing this guy who didn't seem to want to play along. But Vienna was gorgeous --- 3.5
