Movie #1626 ........................."Small Town Christmas"

Movie #1626 "Small Town Christmas" -- This is really one of the better ones --- The lead woman was a fast talker but the guy was so good, and the little girl was such a winner, and the plot smoothly went along with not too many hitches.  Yes, it followed a formula --- the plot line where the big bad corporation wants to take over a town, but what makes it stand out is that we see a defeat of that cooperation because the townspeople show individual integrity and vote against it.  I liked that strong theme of working together to accomplish something...... I also believed the love conflict --- that he rushed back to his family duty (taking care of his sister's kid when there's a car accident) and wrote a letter to her which never got to her because she moved on quickly after he left.  That all seemed plausible to me --- and we all know Hallmark has problems in that area.  I liked this so much, I'd give it a 4.5.  Highly recommended....... writing is a major focus, too, and that's probably why I liked it even better!
