Movie #1619 "A Boyfriend for Christmas" has a terrific cast, led by Kelli Williams (from "the Practice") but the movie is all based on deception. The title of the film seemed a bit silly, but when I watched the opening, something about it intrigued me. However, when it went to modern day (the opening was the past, when they were kids), the deception was from Day 1 and with this lead woman only wanting honesty, it seemed if they got together, it would never work anyway. But then you have this Santa Claus played by Charles Durning showing up everywhere, saying cryptic things and pushing them together. Farfetched and hard to believe, so the movie never went above a 3 out of 5 for me.
