Movie #1623 "Homegrown Christmas" -- this one has a high powered actress as the lead (Lori Loughlin) , but through most of the opening of the film she stands around saying and doing nothing. Yeah, she just sold her company and now she has lots of R and R she never had before and she goes back home where she feels awkward, but still.,....it's a movie, but there's very little moving. Then when she opens her mouth, she is constantly making mistakes talking FOR her boyfriend. But bottom line, the guy isn't one I'd ever end up with (or want any of my friends to end up with) So I guess they deserve each other? Not my kind of hallmark movie. 2.8? out of 5

After stepping down as CEO of her dream job, Maddie (
Lori Loughlin) heads home for the holidays to gain perspective. She finds herself running into her old high school sweetheart Carter (
Victor Webster), and tensions quickly arise. When forced to put together a Christmas dance for the local high school, Carter and Maddie find themselves putting their differences aside and rediscover what made them fall in love all those years ago.
