Movie #1425 ........................."The Christmas Note"

Movie #1425 "The Christmas Note" was different from a lot of these Hallmark films in that there is a very serious story taking place here, and it is also NOT a love story between a guy and a girl, but between two women --- not sexual love, but strong friendship, and that makes this one stand out more than the others.  The acting is okay --- they try to be natural, but really the kid steals a lot of the scenes.  I liked it for trying to do something different  --- a search for this female neighbor's sister or brother --- it keeps the story going....I give it 4 stars out of 5.

'THE CHRISTMAS NOTE"

The Christmas Note (2015)

  • The new original film is based on a bestselling novel by Donna VanLiere. "The Christmas Note."Having just moved back to her hometown without her serviceman husband but with her young son, Gretchen Daniels (Sigler) finds her life in disarray as Christmas approaches. But she discovers new purpose when she helps to deliver a message to her neighbor, Melissa (Gibson), which makes her an ally in the quest to find the neighbor's sibling she never knew she had. The women become bonded not only by the search, but by the understanding that being there for each other means they're no longer alone. This friendship becomes the greatest Christmas gift of their lives.
