Movie #1410 ........................."Snatched"

Movie #1409 "Snatched" --- trip to NYC, time for some plane films, and this was one I saw on the way to NYC --- and it's fluff, for sure.  It's one I saw the trailer for, and I enjoy, usually, the two women (Goldie Hawn and Amy Shumer) so I thought, what the heck!  And it is a What the Heck kind of film............for the majority of the film, it brings across some comic moments that  I haven't seen between the mother and the daughter in their  relationship --- mom is a helicopter type mom, and the daughter is pretty raunchy/independent and dealing with a recent breakup.  Of course, the film is unbelievable and the characters are stretched so much it's hard to recognize them by the time you get to the end of the film, but the opening (more than 1/2) is pretty good --- Once they get kidnapped....well, it's another film.  It becomes silly, unbelievable, but still somewhat funny in parts, thanks to the two women.  I would give it 3.5 out of 5.  If you have time, and you like these two women, then I would recommend it; otherwise, you can take a pass on it.  But it sure kept me busy while flying (something I don't enjoy doing).

"SNATCHED"          R          2017           1 hour and 31 minutes

In this action comedy inspired by the screenwriter's relationship with her mom, a mother-daughter trip goes terribly awry, turning their dream vacation into a holiday nightmare with hilarious consequences .
