Movie #1295 "Fortitude" disc 1 of season 1. This was recommended to me by my brother, and I liked a lot of things about it. It would be good to watch in the cold winter season up here in Wisconsin, because it looks so cold there that it makes where we live warm and cozy. In this show you are way out in nowhere land, and while the mayor is addressing a group of land developers to think about investing in the building of some more motels, the police come in with news that they are under quarantine because someone just suffered an agonizing death due to a possible bear on the loose. The irony becomes pretty funny (in a dark way) as the mayor continues to push on while people are scared at the bear possibility. Stanley Tucci shows up in the 2nd episode to investigate how this guy actually died, and once he comes in, you are ready for something to energize it! Some very interesting characters that take a minimal amount of time to keep them straight. I may go back to this show in the coming months, but this was a nice intro for me. I give it 3.5 stars out of 5.
