Movie #1286 ........................."A Rose for Christmas"

Movie #1286 "A Rose for Christmas" was a good offering tonight, on New Year's Day, because it concerned a group of people working under the gun on a rose bowl parade float.  The film shows just how much work it takes to get one of those ready --- makes us think twice the next time we see that parade.  Of course, there's a nice love story, and the two leading actors make it worth your while to watch.  I liked this one a lot --- daughter and father have a good relationship, there's some conflict in trusting others to get the job done, there's parental pressure on kids to do what the parents have done, as far as career --- some good universal sidelines to keep the story interesting. I'd rate this 3.8 stars out of 5.
