Movie #991 ........................."The Short Game"

Movie #991 ......................... Short Game

Some of the greatest golfers in the world are just 7 years old.
Fierce competitors representing 54 countries descend on the legendary Pinehurst Resort golf course in North Carolina to compete for a world championship title that could make or break the professional sports careers they have worked all their lives to launch - despite the fact that they're all still in grade school. This award-winning documentary traces the journey of these focused, gifted athletes, each determined to become the next champion.
This movie is: Inspiring

Movie # 991 "The Short Game" is a documentary we streamed last night, and it was fun to watch.  Disclaimer:  I'm not a golf fan at all (My husband is), and I can honestly say I am usually bored to death watching it on t.v..   But since it follows a few kids preparing for the big world championship, and we get to know them quite well, and they are cute kids with individual quirks, I was able to get through all the golf playing at the very end, when we are actually AT the championship.  I recommend this to anyone who is interested in competition that kids face and how they handle it.  Oh, and if you are a fan of golf --- that goes without saying1
