Damian (Alex Etel) and his brother, Anthony (Lewis McGibbon), find a satchel filled with British pounds, but with the country just days away from switching to the Euro, they must quickly find a way to spend and share their newfound wealth. So what happens when two young boys stumble upon a cache of cash? While Damian wants to give to the poor, Anthony aims to live it up. Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) directs.

Movie #42 is one of the best movies I have ever seen, and as many movies as I have seen, this would make my favorite list, hands down. And it's a movie that most people would like so it is a staple up at the lake when we have company and they want to see something "good" --- there's so much I like about it -------- Danny Boyle's directive style like the way he builds the house around the little kids, the donkey being pulled through the streets, the female saint who smokes and tells the kid that heaven is completely free, all the saints he sees, the fact that he knows about all these saints like other kids know their baseball cards, the scene at the end and how heartbreaking it is..............but most of all I love the kid. And so much, I'm putting his next movies (he has three in development) on the list, as well. You gotta see this one. I can't rave about it enough. And each time I see it (and I have seen it quite a bit, which is strange for me, because I rarely see movies again ----- done- with- that,- move- on- to -the- next- one- atttitude for me), I come away from it with renewed respect and love for it ----- this film shows what films should be all about! There isn't one wasted minute in it! and I highly recommend this treasure to anyone who reads this!
