Movie #3634 "The Sheep Detectives" (theater) We loved this movie --- and we keep recommending it to everyone we see. What fun it was to watch it -- we spent a lot of time guessing the voices (a lot of really famous people ) and also guessing where this fun story was going. It's no surprise the sheep are trying to find out what happened with their owner (you can see in the trailer that it is probably Hugh Jackman), but you can't tell much more from the trailer the intricate whodunit outline of the story , and it is lots of fun to watch it unfold. There are so serious, dramatic moments that are quite endearing, but then the script is balanced with a wonderful sense of humor. You definitely will leave the theater with a different attitude about sheep. And even though the little ones might not follow the detailed mystery, they sure will learn about sheep and think more kindly about animals we share the planet with. I give it a 5.
