Movie #3632 "Remarkably Bright Creatures" (Netflix) i read this book a couple of years ago, so I was anxious to see this rendition of the book. I am happy to report that we found this most enjoyable Sally Fields was very strong, and Bill Pullman's son did a nice job with this dramatic role. Much nice bonding between Sally and him and Sally and the octopus -- and all three . With the book , I had a couple of things preventing me from giving this book above a 4 -- too many coincidences esp toward at the end of the book that made the ending a bit unbelievable at times, the sudden appearance of the pocket watch, and the pacing to get to the ending was a bit slow . Well, it's as if they read my blog on this book because they corrected all of the problems I thought the book had. So the movie gets a 5 from me.
