Movie #3139 ........................."It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" (Hallmark)

Movie #3139 "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" (Hallmark)  This title does not fit the movie --- there isn't a cute tie-in or anything to it.  That being said, it concerns two rival parts of town - Eastside and Westside, and the mayors are old school chums and rivals themselves so they are set to win the town competition for the Christmas season, and hopefully get that factory they so need for more jobs, etc.  The contest falls apart when the two rivals start to fall in love and no longer want to compete -- but even though the contest start to fail, everyone seems to enjoy the holiday season even more by working together.  Everyone in our congress should watch this movie!  The theme is good, but the rest?  not so good.  I'd give it a 3 for trying to do something different here, but the stage business is boring.
