Movie #1919 "Some Kind of Beautiful " - netflix movie, streaming, is some kind of bad movie. Ugh! It is supposed to be a comedy. The only reason I decided to watch this is that I am a Pierce Brosnan fan (Remington Steele, actually) and I enjoyed a movie he did with Selma Hayek years ago (Before the Sunset) and this movie was putting them back together again. The premise is dumb (see below) and as I watched it it just got worse and worse. And it has some [pretty good people in it -- besides the leads above, Marlee Matlin, Jessica Alba, and Malcolm McDowell, and I oftentimes pick movies by their cast). Well, I am here to tell you, do not see this one at all! The scenery is okay, but this one is a stinker. 1 out of 5.
