Movie #1245 "Journey Back to Christmas" or what I call the "Staring Contest" film, is one of the most outlandish story lines of these Hallmark films, and I didn't buy it. To me, there wasn't enough of a story to fill in the empty spaces, so actors just stared at each other for one reason or another. The biggest one is the time traveler Candace (from "Full House") --- they just let her talk and talk and talk. And then the secondary love story was awkward and full of a lot of pauses. Finally, It seemed the "Picket Fences" actor (Tom Skerritt) might have been having trouble with his lines because he took the weirdest pauses in between his lines as if he was searching for the next words..... Anyway, the ending of the film was strange but happy ---- because the movie was done finally. I think you can guess I wouldn't recommend this one --- there are less farfetched time traveling movies that you could be watching. I'd give this 2.8 out of 5 stars.
