Movie #1238 "Every Christmas Has A Story" didn't have anything new here. The story is pretty simple, dealing with a journalist and her lost spirit for xmas. Of course, she is sent to a town that is supposed to get her to regain it, and of course, she'd be stuck going there with an ex-boyfriend (who is pretty much a stick in the film --- she could have been talking to a wall through most of this film, in my opinion) And it all ends happily ever after ---- too neatly done that even the corniest of these Hallmark films. I would give this 3 stars out of 5 probably mostly because of Lori Laughlin's believability ---- and a nice few moments give to us from one of the "Eight Is Enough" cast members, Willie Ames. But, once again, in a part romance film, the lovebirds should have chemistry and I felt it was missing here. And the story is stretched for a long time, and the answer to the main mystery in the film is given in one 3 minute monologue. Not good.
