Movie #1008 .........................Wildlike

Movie #1008 "Wildlike" was never boring, very action packed.  Below tells pretty much the synopsis, so I'll just add what I liked and didn't like.  I enjoyed the young girl, her acting, and her repartee with more seasoned actor Bruce Greenwood.  And it was nice to see him in the starring role here!  The story was easy to follow and quite captivating, not to mention all that beautiful Alaska scenery!  What I didn't like is the sex scenes ---- there were only 3, and they didn't show much at all (thank goodness, because the lead was only 15 years old) but they were very uncomfortable.  Good movie, all around, thought!

WildLike (2014)

I would give it 4 out of 5 stars
Mackenzie, a troubled but daring teenage girl, is sent by her struggling mother to live with her uncle in Juneau, Alaska. Although Uncle seems like a supportive caretaker and friend, the relationship turns and Mackenzie is forced to run. Trying to make her way back to Seattle alone to find her absent mother, Mackenzie only winds up deeper in the Alaskan interior. Lost and with no one else to turn to, she shadows a loner backpacker, Bartlett, an unlikely father figure with scars of his own. Together, they cross the wilderness and discover sanctuary in the last frontier.
