Movie #3188 "After the Thin Man" (TCM) Yes this is one of the best in this series because Jimmy Stewart is one of the candidates to be the murderer, and the dog is a minor star . I have always loved Nick and Nora Charles, and their dog Asta (if I ever had a dog, I would want it to be Asta!) and all of the films in the series crack us up --- plus the murder mystery is usually more involved --- And this one has, like the others, several possibilities to be the murderer --- and the film has tons of humor ....and drinking! There's a big moment at the end that will affect the rest of the series, and watchers can probably guess before Nora makes an announcement just by watching how little she is imbibing with her husband. Great film. Great Series. Great Actors. 5 out of 5.
