Movie #2240 "Holiday Sitter" (Hallmark) So this is the controversial one in the Hallmark batch this year, and I found it to be one of the best ones ---- it is a rom-com involving two gay guys, and it was treated like the script was written just for two people (not necessarily gay or straight) and I appreciated that. It came across as so normal and loving, and the two people with compassion, passion for kids, and sensitive to all the issues that may be involved. Their conflict came to a poignant point and the ending was a la Hallmark with the kiss 5 minutes before the end, but this one was definitely acceptable to both families that would be a part of their lives together --- you could tell by the applause and the big gang hug at the end --- very nice ending moment! I'd give this a 4.5, just because the lead guy was super, but the secondary one, not quite as good. The kids were cute, though~! and believable!
