Movie #2042 ........................."Good Morning, Christmas" (Hallmark)

Movie #2043 "Good Morning Christmas" (Hallmark) The trailer made this one a bit pretentious looking to me, but I'm glad I tuned in because I enjoyed this one a lot.  Two like "Today" show hosts, trying to work together when they clearly have different ways of working.   I liked that the film focused on that a lot, and how they had to come together to solve the various problems that were presented to them during the course of their final week (supposedly) on t.v. together.....it was witty how the activities were put into the Halmark  modus operandi  with them having to decorate, make wishes and hang on a tree, do crafts, run in a three-legged race, etc..... All of which HE hates because of course there's always one person in the film that HATES CHRISTMAS! right?  Since the conflict was very different from all the others, it caught my eye and as I said above the film shows how two people with different schools of thought have to work together to get something accomplished.  A very topical lesson for our times, for sure.  (for example, he likes to work "in the moment" whereas, she likes to rehearse)  I have to say this was the best ending for a Hallmark film that I have seen in a long time --- romantic, wish fulfilling, and beautiful filmed (in a couple of ways!)  I give this 4.5 ---- one of the best.  (the guy was kind of a jerk from the start and took a while to like him, and I'm not too sure I bought the change in him, and that's the reason it isn't a 5).
