Movie #1325 ........................."Test Pilot"

Movie #1325 "Test Pilot" --- Watching TCM in the morning and saw that this film had Myrna Loy, Clark Gable and Spencer Tracy ---- I thought that triumvirate sounded very strong so I sat down to watch it for a while.  It looked a lot like "Along Came Joe" with Spence, about test pilots that risk their lives so that others can feel safe when flying.  With that subject in mind, you can guess what the rest of the plot is about in this movie  ....... how both men love the same women, but one will probably die.  No surprises here....and some of the lines of dialogue are not good at all, but in the hands of the likes of these great actors, they are able to elevate the film.  Boy!  when you watch "Sully" this year, you can see how far we've come along in showing the art of flying in film!  I'd give this 3 out of 5 stars!
