Movie #1318 "4.1 miles" is still another academy award nominated short documentary for this year, and it is on a popular subject, refugees trying to travel the 4.1 miles across dangerous sea in their inadequate boats to get from Turkey to a Greek Island. Two men who man boats (not sure what they did before) find themselves going out constantly to save hundreds of people --- we go on a few boat trips with them and we are there as they try to save a mother and two children who have fallen into the water, and other travesties that occur, mostly to women and children. It'll break your heart, esp. with what is going on right now all over the world with Syrian refugees. I wish it gave more information , but it does give the impression that these boatmen are just two of many that find themselves thrown into first responding all of a sudden, and don't know what to do about it! I'd give this 4 out of 5 stars ---- pretty powerful, what is here.
