Movie #842 "American Hustle"takes a long time to get into (after the first couple of minutes that are humorous, I'll have to say), but it is too well acted to dismiss. The script meanders a bit, the tempo is slow, the film is a bit too repetitious, chatty, and raunchy for my taste, but it'll be nominated a bunch in the rewards season. It's one of those that lingers long after you've seen it, but the script has one too many characters. I do appreciate that most of the characters have nice moments the actors can shine in and the hustle itself is quite satisfying ---- it isn't the "Sting" but it's a nice attempt.
American Hustle2013R I give this 3.8 stars out of 5.
