Movie #724 "Wreck it Ralph" was a real cute movie, but I'm not the demographic -- I've never gotten into video games, but I think if I knew more about them, I would have appreciated this even more. What I did appreciate was a good strong theme, and thank god for Sarah Silverman --- she would rival "Boo" in "Monster's Inc" --- really an adorable character that drew me in on her first entrance, which is 20+ minutes in, though. The characters are fun, the movie keeps going non stop, and the ideas seemed very simplistic, but it was fun watching it in our empty theatre! I liked it better than Disney's "Brave" but I'm not sure it has a chance at the academy award this year.
I'd give it 3.5 stars out of 5.
