Movie #586 ........................."Bill Cunningham New York"

Movie #586 "Bill Cunningham New York" has everything I like in a documentary --- it has a story to tell, it is centered around people you care about (in this case, Bill), it teaches you something along the way (I knew relatively little about the fashion industry), and it inspires you with the story --- and that it did. What an interesting guy, this Bill Cunningham on his bicycle is, riding through the streets of NYC on a daily business (even at the ripe old age of 80) taking photographs of the day's fashions, not knowing what his goal will be until he takes the pics. Very Quirky, but likeable film, and remember it for the spirit awards this Saturday, where it is nominated for one ---- and it might just win it!

I rated this 4 out of 5 stars
