Movie #452 ........................."The Road Home"

Movie #452 "The Road Home" won the best World Cinema short at the Phoenix Film Festival, and deservedly so. It concerns a little boy who is attending a private school near mumbai and is constantly picked on because he looks of Indian descent and his folks are Indian, but he refuses to admit that he is ---- so the other kids call him names. One day, he has had enough and he leaves and hops a taxi to get to New Delhi and start his road back home................but on this ride home he learns that he should he can't shake who he is and he has to learn to stand up for himself. A good lesson for the kid and the viewer. Nice quiet film with a lesson. 4 stars.
