Movie #451 ........................."Old People Driving"

Movie #451 "Old People Driving" was the winner of the short documentary at the Phoenix Film Festival. I loved this one - the spirit of it, the universality of it, the people the documentarian interviewed. The film follows two elderly men who are faced with a decision whether they should not drive anymore. One is 100 years of age, and he is deciding to trade his car in for a tricycle, except he's having problems getting used to that mode of transportation. The other is in his late 90s and he isn't ready to give up the keys yet --- he thinks he drives well, and according to his daughter, who is putting the film together, she agrees....so far. So she put together the movie to investigate what it means to give up the right to drive, and all that goes into that decision. Well done! 5 stars!
