Movie #3093 "Love Takes Flight" (Hallmark) I had watched this a while ago and just got through half of it, and finally I finished it today. I like Nikki DeLoach -- she's one of my favorite Hallmark divas, and in this one , she plays a divorced doctor who runs a hospital while trying to raise her daughter in a beautiful area of the country. En trance, good looking, but awfully shy helicopter pilot, whom she needs to transport a kidney for a transplant. She hires him temporarily for other jobs , and as she gets to know him, she starts to fall in love, but she is afraid he will be like her ex--- never around. Well, it takes him the entire movie to prove that he isn't -- I liked the combination of the two, nd he is very easy on the eyes and plays shy very well. The movie is slow-paced at the beginning and in the last 20 minutes a lot is thrown at us dramatically, dealing with a grieving dad, a flight in bad weather, an ex who probably won't show up to his daughter's piano recital, and the pilot getting offered a job in Alaska, and the doctor firing the guy. Whew! Most is resolved, but the ending is kind of up in the air --- they both love each other, but what will he do in this place since he gave up his job in Alaska for her? I'de give this a 4 out of 5.
