Movie #2165 "The Wedding Veil Expectations" (Hallmark) There were three of these for this year , and to me this first one was the weakest. I was surprised because I usually like Chabert's films better than others, but there just wasn't much to do in this film for the competent actors. Generally, it was fun revisiting this duo when they met (with veil in hand, that's the whole idea of the veil putting love into two people's lives) , fall in love and get married at the end of the first one. Now they have settled in to being married (the first of the three couples) and they are dealing with their jobs and renovating an old house (both way too popular topics in the Hallmark genre of films) -- the story had no bite --- never pulled me in until she says she is expecting --- then the usual celebration and problems rise to the surface with that kind of announcement --- no surprises here. I'd give it a 3.5. Once again, the other two women, now married, come to her rescue a couple of times during the film, and those times are more fun to watch to me.
