Movie #1717 "Chasing Liberty" --- saw that Matthew Goode was in this NETFLIX streamable film and had to watch it (he's one of my very favorite actors). Anyway, not a huge fan of Mandy Moore, but she was okay in this one --- BUT nothing new with this story --- however, with Goode playing the president's daughter's guide through Venice, Prague and other beautiful European cities, and Mark Harmon as the President, well, that was kind of a win/win/win for me. The story is lame, I'll grant you that , but it is nice to see an ethical person who doesn't give in to the ready and willing overtures from the other sex and gives the reason that he has to do his job! It's nice to know if the ethical person is still around (this is an older film, though, so who knows). Anyway, I just watched it for the love story and the beautiful scenery, and for those I'd give it a 3.8 --- it is NOT a must see, unless you are like me and like Goode and Harmon!

Anna wants to be like other girls her age (18): date a guy etc. but she's the US president's daughter and always guarded. In Prague he breaks his promise of only 2 agents following her to a concert and she runs away with Ben to see Europe.
