Movie #1019 "One Small Hitch" --- I saw this gem of a film at the Naperville Film Festival and voted it #1 last year so I highly recommend it. The reason I'm critiquing it here is because while I was looking up other films on netflix, I found this in its library so I thought I'd write a blog on it to get others to see it. There are very few smart romantic comedies, and I thought this was one of them. You can read the premise below, and the leads aren't anyone you would know, but take it from me, this is a fun one to see, if you like romantic comedies. If you don't, I don't know what I could recommend to you because this is my favorite genre, and I've been known to like movies in this genre that the critics don't. I guess I think the chemistry has to be there and both guy and girl should be equally good actors, the script has to be somewhat smart, & something about it should be something I haven't seen before (which is tough, but I don't expect that everything has to be original (which some critics use to decide if romantic comedies are good or not) , and this movie fits all those and more. So yes, I recommend it. So even though you might know none of the actors in it, give it a try. It's fun.
