Movie #956 ........................."The Skeleton Twins"

Movie #956 "The Skeleton Twins" is a dark humored film concerning the relationship between brother and sister.   It covers quite a bit ---- attempted suicide, past  baggage, common friends, finishing sentences, loving the same music, dressing up in costumes, you name it, it's covered here, in this slice of life meet up of an estranged brother and sister.  It's doubly fun with Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig playing the parts.  And hats off to Luke Wilson as Wiig's hubby, finally a part for him to sink his teeth into and show what he can do!  There's a scene with Joanna Gleason that does the same for her, too.  I liked the story, I laughed out loud a number of times, the story went somewhere and had a nice high point and ending.  Who could ask for anything more in a comedy, and I recommend it.  Not for the faint of heart, though.  Some very serious adult scenes and language in parts.

The Skeleton Twins2014R               I would give this movie 5 out of 5 stars.
When near-death experiences on the same day motivate estranged twins Milo and Maggie to reunite, they're forced to reevaluate their empty lives as they attempt to mend the long-broken bond between them.
