Movie #520 ......................."We Need to Talk About Kevin"

Movie #520 "We Need to Talk about Kevin" is not a movie for everybody --- Dave didn't like it --- thought it was too raw in some scenes. I thought it was so well acted, and so prettily filmed that you can't dismiss it because of the rawness of the plot. It is told in flashback and you, the audience, are constantly trying to put the pieces together on what the tragedy is that has caused the mother to change so drastically in this town. The blame is put on the title, mostly, but the film just tragically unfolds from one moment of exquisite filming (mostly done with blood red paint) after another. Very disturbing film, but I thought it was handled well.
